feature Everton and England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, who has stressed his belief he will continue to improve. The 25-year-old was the Three Lions’ hero in their UEFA Nations League penalty shootout victory over Switzerland on Sunday, when he both scored a saved a spot-kick.
“I just want to go and express myself and do the best for the nation and for the team,” Pickford said. “I just feel I can get better and better.”
The Liverpool Echo, meanwhile, reports on claims in the Turkish media that Besiktas are keen to sign Everton winger Nikola Vlasic.
The 21-year-old Croatia international spent last season on loan at CSKA Moscow.
