Tuesday’s Daily Mirror claims Everton have made a move to bring Paris St Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot to Goodison Park.

The 24-year-old’s contract expires at the end of the month and the paper reports the Blues are rivalling the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur for his signature.

The Daily Mail suggests Everton are set to step up their efforts to sign Andre Gomes from Barcelona on a permanent deal.

The Portuguese impressed during a season-long with the Toffees in 2018-19. West Ham United are said to have tabled a bid for Gomes, who has won 29 caps for his country.

The Liverpool Echo carries a report from Argentinian media outlet Newspaper Ole, which believes the Blues have had a transfer offer accepted for River Plate midfielder Santiago Sosa.

Sosa is currently in action for Argentina at the U20 World Cup in Poland.
