Everton are one of three Premier League clubs to have been “offered the chance” to sign Marseille and Netherlands midfielder Kevin Strootman on loan, according to Sky Sports

The Daily Mail and Daily Express both point to the story after the Blues, Manchester United and West Ham United were all linked with the 29-year-old former PSV Eindhoven and Roma star.

Also among Thursday’s Everton coverage, 18-year-old Bolton Wanderers starlet Luca Connell, who has previously been linked with a summer switch to Goodison Park, admits to the Irish Examiner that he is a boyhood Blue and says it was “surreal” to meet defender Seamus Coleman when he joined a senior Republic of Ireland training camp in the Algarve earlier this week.

On the subject of international training camps, Everton Under-23s Player of the Season Nathan Broadhead is quoted in the Liverpool Echo saying his call up to a 26-man senior Wales party on Tuesday came as "a shock”.

The same paper also looks at how all 19 of Everton’s loaned out players fared during 2018-19 and assesses what could happen next in their Toffees careers.

Finally, Inside Futbol highlights reports in Turkey suggesting the Blues are prepared to let Nikola Vlasic head to Galatasaray on loan next term after being impressed by how forward Henry Onyekuru has progress during his time with the Instanbul giants.
