WATCH: Chairman Surprises Keane With Blueblood Award

Defender Michael Keane received an end of season surprise at USM Finch Farm when he was called into a meeting with Chairman Bill Kenwright and Majority Shareholder Farhad Moshiri to be told he had won this year's Blueblood Award.

Unaware why he was being asked to join the duo during their recent visit to the Club's training ground, England international Keane entered the room to discover Mr Kenwright and Mr Moshiri mid-conversation with manager Marco Silva, Director of Football Marcel Brands and CEO Denise Barrett-Baxendale.

The group had, in fact, gathered to await Keane and deliver the news he had scooped the Chairman's annual prize - previously won by names including Duncan Ferguson, Tim Cahill, Tim Howard and David Moyes - for going "above and beyond" in his duties.
