Turning Kurt Zouma’s loan into a permanent move when the summer transfer window opens has become a “priority” for Everton, according to Wednesday’s Liverpool Echo.

Towering centre-back Zouma has made 33 appearances for the Blues since arriving on deadline day in August and the Club is said to be keen on ensuring the 24-year-old remains at Goodison Park.

The same paper gazes into the future to predict what Everton’s squad could look like in four years’ time, while the Under-23s’ 2-1 Premier League Cup quarter-final success over Blackburn Rovers is reported.

Finally, the Echo analyse how the Blues’ pressing game under boss Marco Silva has been key to their recent successes against Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United.

Elsewhere, Gylfi Sigurdsson tells the Daily Mirror he wants Everton to secure European football to cap their fine end of season form.
