Andre Gomes features in Friday’s Liverpool Echo, with the midfielder revealing he is “really happy” at Everton.
The Portuguese joined the Blues on a season-long loan from Barcelona last summer and thanked the Everton supporters for helping him to settle in quickly to life at Goodison Park.
"Since I was a kid, I was watching games from the Premier League," he added.
"I wanted to play here and have that experience, I am really happy here and the fans have been with me since day one.
"I am enjoying playing for Everton and enjoying my life here."
The Echo carries quotes from Lucas Digne, who has explained how he is savouring linking up with skilful winger Bernard.
"Bernard is an amazing player, he understands everything and is very intelligent," he added.
"We are talking all the time, in training and out of training. We have a very good relationship and it is really important to speak all the time.”
The local read also reflects on the coverage provided by the New York Times on the “pioneering” work undertaken by Everton in the Community (EitC).
The Times' website, which has four million subscribers and 43 million followers on Twitter, reports: “There is barely a part of life in Liverpool that the Club does not touch.
“It oversees more than 40 social programs, focused on issues as diffuse as mental health and serious organised crime; it reaches more than 20,000 people a year.”
