What The Papers Say - February 27

Everton's 3-0 win at Cardiff City on Tuesday night features heavily across national and local editions.

Many point to the brace scored by Gylfi Sigurdsson, which saw him break the record for the most goals scored by an Icelander in the Premier League.

The Liverpool Echo looks at Morgan Schneiderlin, recalled by Marco Silva for the trip to Wales, with the Blues boss saying the Frenchman "has never given up" and "has shown he deserved a chance."

Silva tells the Daily Mail that "winning brings back confidence."

The Echo also carries quotes from the Toffees boss on what he told substitute Bernard as he prepared to come on, with the Brazilian impressing after his second-half introduction.
