Wednesday’s Liverpool Echo highlights Lucas Digne’s value as a creative force for Everton.

The France international has enjoyed an impressed maiden campaign at Goodison Park having signed from Barcelona last summer.

The Echo reports he has created 12 clear chances for the Toffees in the Premier League – more than any other top-flight defender.

The local read also speculates the Blues are among a number of clubs tracking Birmingham City striker Che Adams. The 22-year-old has hit 19 goals for the Championship side this season and is rumoured to be valued at around £20million.

The Daily Telegraph, meanwhile, reflects on Everton Ladies' spirited performance at Manchester City on Wednesday night.

The Blue Girls led 1-0 at half-time but the unbeaten WSL leaders fought back in the second half to secure a 3-1 victory.

The Telegraph reports the Toffees “pressed City to kingdom come” in the first half and gave the home team their “biggest scare of the season”.
