What The Papers Say - January 10

Thursday's edition of the Liverpool Echo links Everton with a move for Barcelona's Brazilian winger Malcolm.

The former Bordeaux man has struggled for regular first-team football at the Nou Camp and the local read suggests he could make a move to Goodison Park.

The Echo adds that Michy Batshuayi - the Chelsea striker on loan at Valencia - could also be a target, alongside French midfielder Tanguy NDombele of Lyon.

Meanwhile, both the Bournemouth Echo and the Daily Mail believe James McCarthy is a loan target for fellow Premier League side Bournemouth.

And in the Irish Times, former Everton and Republic of Ireland man Kevin Kilbane looks at why Seamus Coleman may have to adapt his game as he grows older.
