Everton are said to be mulling over potential moves for a striker and a defender in Monday’s newspapers.

The Daily Express believes the Blues are in for RB Leipzig’s French forward Jean-Kevin Augustin, but will have to include Ademola Lookman – who spent time on loan at the German club last season – as part of the deal.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mail suggests West Ham United youngster Reece Oxford is a January target for the Toffees.

The Liverpool Echo pick outs the talking points from the 3-1 defeat at Manchester City on Saturday, including Lucas Digne’s third assist for Dominic Calvert-Lewin alone this season.

Elsewhere, Marco Silva has also challenged the young striker to become Everton’s first-choice frontman, and has backed Yerry Mina to continue playing out from the back.

Richarlison tells the local read that he is “upset” at not scoring at the Etihad, while there is a look at why Marcel Brands, the Club’s Director of Football, will be eager to see young players starting to bridge the gap between the Under-23s and the first team.
