Marco Silva says Everton will need “perfect organisation” and a “really fantastic attitude” to overcome Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City on Saturday.
Manager Silva spoke exclusively to evertontv on the eve of the Blues' visit to the Etihad Stadium and promised his side would play with their customary ambition against the reigning Premier League champions.

The scale of Everton’s task this weekend is underlined by the fact City have lost only one Premier League game on their own patch in the past two years.
Guardiola’s side was beaten for the first time this season at Chelsea last week, with the London club’s defender David Luiz confessing his team needed to be flawless in every facet of the game to earn their victory.
And Silva insists Everton must reach similar levels of excellence to earn the three points which would see them vault above Manchester United into sixth.
Everton have won five and lost only two of their past 10 Premier League games. They go to City five days after drawing 2-2 with Watford on a night when Lucas Digne opened his scoring account for the club and Brazilian dynamo Richarlison notched his eighth goal of the campaign.
“Richarlison is improving every time; playing left-wing, as a striker, he is scoring goals – and goals are really important for all the strikers,” said Silva.
“In my opinion we will play against the best Premier League team [in City]. High, high quality, with a lot of solutions in their style, in their game. With a very good manager.
“If we have perfect organisation and a really fantastic attitude and tactical behaviour, we can compete with them.
“We have to be almost perfect and challenge them and try to achieve a good result for us.”
