What The Papers Say - December 13

The Daily Express suggests Everton are interested in signing Porto defender Eder Militao.

The 20-year-old, who can play at right-back or centre-back, won his first senior international cap for the five-times world champions in a 5-0 win over El Salvador in September – a game where Blues forward Richarlison bagged a brace.

The Express reports Manchester United and Chelsea are also keeping tabs on Militao.

Thursday's Liverpool Echo, meanwhile, reflects on Everton’s rivalry with Manchester City ahead of the Toffees’ meeting with the Premier League champions on Saturday.

The local read relives games such as the Toffees’ stunning 4-0 victory over City at Goodison Park in January 2017 and the 2-0 success at the Etihad Stadium in March 2010.
