Mina On Psyching Himself Up, Loving Life And His Everton Family

by Paul McNamara
@Everton

Yerry Mina was so keen to play football for Everton he pleaded with the Club’s medical staff to let him continue training after suffering a setback during his recovery from a foot injury.

The Colombia international centre-half followed his instructions, though, and went on to turn in an accomplished debut performance at Chelsea on Sunday.

In an exclusive interview with evertontv, the charismatic 24-year-old reveals how his new teammates aided his swift transition into life at Goodison Park.

And Mina explains how “head of the family” Marco Silva has united Everton’s cosmopolitan dressing room almost overnight.

Mina’s full interview is available for free to Season Ticket Members and We Are Everton Members and is part of a wide range of exclusive content throughout the 2018-19 campaign which includes live streams of Under-23s and Under-18s games, exclusive features and more.
