France Call-Ups For Digne And Zouma

Everton pair Lucas Digne and Kurt Zouma have been recalled to the France squad.

The world champions face Gylfi Sigurdsson's Iceland in a friendly on Thursday, October 11 before welcoming European heavyweights Germany to the Stade de France in Paris.

Left-back Digne has been rewarded for his eye-catching start to his Everton career with a recall, after missing out on a place in the squad for the World Cup in Russia last summer.

Meanwhile, Zouma - on loan at Goodison Park from Chelsea - has been called up for the squad and could add to his two caps to date.

Jordan Pickford has been named in the England squad for their Nations League fixtures with Croatia and Spain this month.

The Everton keeper, who signed a new six-year deal with the Blues at the end of the September, will have the chance to build on the 11 caps he has accrued so far.

England face Croatia on Friday, October 12 in Rijeka, before travelling to the Estadio Benito de Villamarin in Seville to face Spain the following Monday.

The Three Lions are currently sit second in Group 4 after losing to Spain in their opening fixture at Wembley back in September.

The Spanish also defeated World Cup finalists Croatia 6-0 last month to give them six points from two games.
