Cenk Tosun grabbed an assist as Turkey came from two goals down to stun Sweden 3-2 in their UEFA Nations League clash in Stockholm.
Tosun set up substitute Emre Akbaba to level the score at 2-2 with two minutes of normal time remaining, before the same player clinched a dramatic victory in injury time.
Turkey went into the fixture having lost 2-1 to 2018 World Cup hosts Russia on home soil in their competition opener on Friday.
And Mircea Lucescu's side found themselves 2-0 down against the Swedes with 49 minutes played after Viktor Claesson added to Isaac Kiese Thelin’s first-half strike.
However, AC Milan forward Hakan Calhanoglu reduced the arrears within two minutes, before Galatasaray midfielder Akbaba’s late double salvo.
Tosun had a chance to add a fourth in the final seconds but saw his shot blocked after being teed up by Serdar Gurler.
As he had against Russia, Tosun played the full 90 minutes in Sweden as he earned his 30th cap for his country.
The result leaves Turkey second in Group B2, level on three points with leaders Russia but having played a game more.
Earlier on Monday evening, Nikola Vlasic helped Croatia Under-21s ease to a 4-0 European Championship qualifying win in Belarus.
The Everton winger, 20, is currently on a season-long loan at CSKA Moscow.
