Williams Seals Bolton Loan Switch

Everton midfielder Joe Williams has completed a season-long loan move to Championship team Bolton Wanderers.

The 21-year-old, who joined the Blues aged seven, was a Premier League 2 title winner with the Club in 2016/17.

He played 38 matches on loan with Barnsley last term and impressed in Everton Under-23s' opening two matches of this season.

Williams joins a Bolton side which is sitting third in the Championship and unbeaten in its first four games of the campaign.

He could potentially make his debut for Phil Parkinson's side when Wanderers make the short trip to Preston North End on Saturday.
