Marco Silva features across Saturday's national newspapers reflecting on Everton's transfer deadline-day signings.

The Blues boss tells The Mirror the additions of Bernard, Yerry Mina, Andre Gomes and Kurt Zouma on Thursday will help push on the Club's young talents and create more competition in his squad.

Silva is quoted in The Telegraph explaining why Ademola Lookman represents 'the present and future' of Everton and that he told the 20-year-old winger "the board and I believe in his skills and profile".

Everton's manager reflects on his four new additions in The Daily Express, saying Mina, Gomes, Bernard and Zouma know they have joined a big club after switching to the Toffees.

And the Daily Mail focuses on the Blues' opening game of the Premier League season at Wolves on Saturday, with Silva calling on his players to make a strong start to the 2018-19 campaign.
