When Duncan Ferguson first arrived at Goodison Park on an initial three-month loan deal back in October 1994, he couldn’t have guessed he was triggering a love affair with the Grand Old Lady that would continue to this day. 

That temporary stint was eventually made permanent and - two seasons between 1998 and 2000 aside - he remained with the Blues until netting with his final touch in football to secure a 2-2 draw against West Bromwich Albion in May 2006. 

That emotive strike, his very first goal for the Club (in a Merseyside derby triumph no less) and his hat-trick of headers on his maiden start as captain are among the efforts Ferguson discusses in a gripping interview filmed at the scene of so many of the striker’s best moments in royal blue.
