Robinson Pens New Everton Deal And Completes Wigan Loan Switch

Antonee Robinson has signed a new three-year contract with Everton and will continue his immediate development with a season-long loan to Wigan Athletic.

The 20-year-old defender played 30 league games for Bolton last season and is determined, ultimately, to follow the likes of Tom Davies and Jonjoe Kenny into the Toffees’ first team.

“It means everything to me to sign this new deal,” Robinson, who joined Everton’s Academy at 11 years old, told evertontv.

“Everyone has looked after me here at Everton, all the coaches, all the staff.

“The lads who I’ve grown up playing with are all doing well and prospering and I want to be the next one to break through, like so many of my mates have.”
