Statement In Relation To Streaming Issue

Everton Football Club would like to apologise following issues with the live stream of Thursday evening’s pre-season friendly against Blackburn.

An unprecedented power outage at the Club’s production partner ADI.tv meant viewers were unable to watch some of the match being played at Ewood Park.

ADI.tv Chief Operating Officer James Robinson said: “ADI.tv has worked with Everton Football Club to deliver streaming video services since live matches were first shown on the Club's website. Unfortunately, during Thursday evening’s pre-season game there was a major power issue at our facilities in the North West which affected the delivery of the match against Blackburn.

“We apologise to the Club and all fans watching. We will work with the Club to ensure this doesn’t affect any future live services.“

Whilst the events were out of the Club’s control, we fully understand the frustration of supporters and recognise that the level of service is below that which our fans expect.
