The Guardian suggests Everton are among several Premier League clubs vying for the loan signing of Chelsea and England midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

The paper reports the Toffees, West Ham United and Crystal Palace – where he spent the 2017/18 campaign on loan – are keen on bringing in the 22-year-old, who is currently on World Cup duty with the Three Lions.

The Daily Mirror, meanwhile, speculates that teenage Austrian midfielder Hannes Wolf could be a transfer target for the Blues.

Wolf, 19, scored 12 goals and made eight assists last season as Red Bull Salzburg won the Austrian title and reached the semi-finals of the Europa League.

The Hull Daily Mail continues to link the Blues with Hull City forward Jarrod Bowen.

The local read reports, however, Tigers boss Nigel Adkins is eager to keep hold of the 21-year-old, who hit 14 goals for the Championship club last season.
