Monday’s Daily Mirror continues to link Everton with a move for Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere.

The 26-year-old has announced he will leave the Gunners when his contract expires on July 1. The Mirror suggests West Ham United and Juventus are also keen on signing the England international.

The Liverpool Echo, meanwhile, speculates that the Blues may be interested in signing Valencia forward Rodrigo.

The 27-year-old, who is currently on World Cup duty with Spain, has hit 23 goals in 81 top-flight appearances for the La Liga club.

The Echo also carries quotes from Idrissa Gana Gueye, who has spoken to L’Equipe about his time at the Diambars football academy in Senegal and how it helped him become the player he is today.

“Diambars is a family,” the Toffees midfielder explained. “Everything that touches one touches the other. I spent more time there than with my own family, five years without stopping, alone at that age. We talked about our dreams in the evening, we imagined lives when we had nothing. When I see this journey again… It’s beautiful.”
