What The Papers Say - June 20

The Daily Telegraph, The Times and the Daily Star speculate that Everton could be interested in signing Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere.

Wilshere announced on Tuesday that he will be leaving the Gunners when his contract expires on July 1. The 26-year-old has spent 17 years with Arsenal and has won 34 caps for England.

Seamus Coleman, meanwhile, features in the Irish Mirror. The Everton full-back speaks of his love of the game and how he is a family man at heart.

The Republic of Ireland captain said: “I just love football and training and winning games, and that’s where it ends. I go home then and I see my family and that’s me. It has always been about the job and playing football and giving my family a secure future.”

The Liverpool Echo, meanwhile, links the Blues with a move for Celta Vigo’s Danish winger Daniel Wass.

The local read also speculates that PSV Eindhoven have put on a £30 million price tag on Mexico winger Hirving Lozano, who the paper continues to suggest is a transfer target for Everton.
