Everton are said to be one of a number of Premier League clubs eyeing up a potential move for Hamburg defender Josha Vagnoman.

Wednesday’s edition of the Daily Express believes the Blues, along with Chelsea and Arsenal, are interested in the 17-year-old full-back, who became the second youngest ever Bundesliga debutant when making his bow against Bayern Munich in March.

Elsewhere, the Daily Mirror suggests both Wayne Rooney and Leighton Baines are targets for MLS sides. The paper reports that the former is ‘set for a medical’ with DC United, while the latter could be of interest to LA Galaxy and Los Angeles FC.

In the Daily Mail, it is believed that Marcel Brands, the Blues’ Director of Football, will meet Marco Silva over the vacant manager’s job.

Oumar Niasse, who worked with Silva at Hull City, is also quoted in the Liverpool Echo from when he was on loan with the Tigers.
