Idrissa Gana Gueye has been presented with the Cadbury's Premier League Milestone Award after reaching 100 top-flight appearances.

The Everton midfielder hit the century mark after starting the 1-1 draw against Southampton on 5 May in the final home game of the 2017/18 season.

Gana, who is in the Senegal squad for this summer's World Cup finals in Russia, joined the Toffees from Aston Villa in August 2016 and made his debut that month in the 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur at Goodison Park.

Since then, the 28-year-old has made 66 league appearances for the Blues, notching three goals, his first coming in the 2-0 win over Sunderland in February 2017 as the Senegalese struck powerfully over now-teammate Jordan Pickford to open the scoring.

Over the course of his two seasons at Everton, the ball-winning midfielder has twice been ranked second in the most successful tackles table just behind N'Golo Kante and Wilfried Ndidi in 2016/17 and 2017/18 respectively.
