Pickford Bags Awards Hat-Trick At Dixies

Jordan Pickford rounded off a memorable night at The Dixies when he picked up his third award at Liverpool's Philharmonic Hall.

Having already scooped both the Young Player and Players’ Player prizes, Pickford completed his hat-trick when earning another accolade.

The 24-year-old picked up his award from Blues manager Sam Allardyce and assistant Sammy Lee to a rousing ovation from those in attendance.

“Three's not bad for your first season, is it!” joked Pickford after stepping off the stage for the third time of the night.

“It means a lot to be voted for awards by the fans and your teammates. It's been an enjoyable first season for me at a massive Club.

“I'm confident I can keep improving and we will continue to improve as a team. The goal for us now is to win these final two games of the season and then get off to a good start next season.”

The Player of the Season was sponsored by SportPesa.
