Wayne Rooney hails the job Sam Allardyce has done at Everton in Monday’s newspapers. 

The Blues forward features in the Daily Mirror and Daily Mail, as well as the Liverpool Echo, revealing why the former Crystal Palace boss deserves credit for guiding the Toffees to eighth in the table.

Elsewhere, Rooney tells the Independent that Everton’s players are fully behind Allardyce.
