According to reports in Holland, Everton may make their first swoop in the summer transfer window before the World Cup for Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech. Ziyech, who currently plays for Ajax, has been noted as the best player in the Erividisie this season following a return of 8 goals and 15 assists with other teams such as AS Roma and Inter Milan keen for the attacking midfielder's signature.

There are more transfer rumours this morning coming out of Italy, with Calciomercato reporting that the Blues are interested in Juventus star Kwadwo Asamoah. The Ghanian is currently serving out the last year of his contract in Turin, meaning he will be available on a free transfer in the summer. Asamoah can play left-back, left midfield and also a defensive midfield role.
