The Daily Star and Daily Express both feature interviews with Michael Keane, as the Everton defender insists he is not giving up on his dream of making the England squad for this summer’s World Cup finals in Russia.

The Blues centre-back was left out by Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate for the recent friendlies against the Netherland and Italy, but Keane believes helping Everton to success can be his best response.

“I’m sure if Everton are doing well and I’m playing well in an Everton team that’s winning games, then I’ll have a decent chance,” says the summer signing from Burnley.

The Mirror focuses on the Toffees’ form since Sam Allardyce took over as manager – which is the sixth best in the Premier League – and carries quotes from the Blues boss on how he hopes Everton’s recent positive form against Manchester City can help his side going into today’s clash between the two teams at Goodison.

Allardyce is also featured in the Liverpool Echo explaining why in-form striker Cenk Tosun – who has four goals in his past three matches for the Club – will be key to beating City, with the Everton boss pointing to his side's improved defensive displays in recent weeks.
