The Daily Mirror and Times are among the newspapers to bill the Toffees' trip to Stoke today as a shootout for the England goalkeeping gloves between Everton's Jordan Pickford and Potters number one Jack Butland.
The Daily Star quotes Blues boss Sam Allardyce saying that Pickford should be in "pole position" to play for the Three Lions at this summer's World Cup in Russia.
Everton are once more linked with Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere by the Times, who indicate the Club will offer the 26-year-old England international a lucrative signing-on fee in a bid to tempt him to Goodison Park.
The Liverpool Echo features Seamus Coleman talking about how the fervent backing he recieved Evertonians gave him a "huge lift" when he returned from 10 months on the sidelines to play against Leicester City at Goodison in January.
The Echo also carries comments from Allardyce on the areas in which the Toffees need to improve away from home – and runs a story which suggests Everton will start work on building a new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock in summer 2019.
And Blues striker Sandro Ramirez reportedly wants to convert his loan with Spanish side Sevilla into a permanent arrangement.
