From The Vault: Cahill Settles Five-Goal Thriller

Everton’s first ever Premier League trip to Saturday’s opponents Stoke City saw the Blues edge a five-goal thriller in the Potteries.

After letting slip a two-goal lead that had come through efforts from Yakubu and Victor Anichebe, it was left to Tim Cahill to pop up and ensure a deserved victory with a trademark header that earned David Moyes’ Toffees their first points of the 2008/09 campaign.
