Everton duo Idrissa Gana Gueye and Oumar Niasse have been called up to the Senegal national team ahead of their upcoming friendlies against Uzbekistan on 23 March and Bosnia-Herzegovina on 26 March.

Niasse has been rewarded after scoring seven goals in 17 games for the Toffees this campaign. The forward made his debut for Senegal in November 2015 and will hope to add to the three caps and one goal he has for his country. Niasse last played for the Lions of Teranga in May 2016 in a 2-0 friendly win over Rwanda, and will be hoping to make a late push for a World Cup place.

Senegal manager Aliou Cisse will potentially give Gana his 48th and 49th caps as the midfielder receives another call-up ahead of the World Cup this summer in Russia. Gana first appeared for Senegal in 2011.
