What The Papers Say - 5 March

A number of Monday's newspapers carry comments from Seamus Coleman, who says he understands Everton fans' frustrations with the team's away form and stresses the importance of "putting on a performance" for the supporters when Brighton & Hove Albion visit Goodison Park on Saturday.

Boss Sam Allardyce tells the Liverpool Echo that the Toffees' players and management staff share a responsibility to produce better results away from home for the Club's "passionate fans".

Allardyce is also widely quoted admitting his disappointment that Everton have not consistently performed to the same standard as when embarking on a seven-match unbeaten run at the start of the manager's reign.

Reports in Italy indicate Inter Milan are ready to sanction the departure of Croatia international midfielder and mooted Toffees' target Marcelo Brozovic.

Another player linked to a Goodison switch is versatile defender Craig Dawson, who it is suggested will leave West Bromwich Albion if the Baggies fail in their bid to beat the drop.
