A new study featured in Monday’s Daily Mail lauds Everton midfielder Tom Davies as one of the very best young players in European football.
CIES Football Observatory have used player data to compile a list of the most promising teenage talents across the continent and rank Davies seventh - 25 places higher than his nearest Premier League rival, Manchester United's Timothy Fosu-Mensah, and three ahead of closest compatriot, Ryan Sessegnon of Fulham.
