In League Two, goalkeeper Louis Gray was also on the bench as Carlisle United beat Chesterfield 2-0 at Brunton Park.

Away from these shores, Sandro Ramirez came on as a 43rd-minute substitute as Sevilla bagged their third straight win as they saw off Las Palmas 2-1 in La Liga.
