Transfer deadline day’s newspapers speculate Everton will launch a late bid to land Manchester City defender Eliaquim Mangala on loan until the end of the season.

The Daily Mail, Daily Star, Daily Mirror and Liverpool Echo are among those suggesting the former Porto defender is available after City completed a move for his France teammate Aymeric Laporte on Tuesday.

The Mirror claim Newcastle and West Ham United are also interested in the 26-year-old but that his preference would be a switch to Goodison Park.

The Echo and Mail report the news that striker Sandro Ramirez is heading to Sevilla on loan, with the latter also hinting midfielder Davy Klaassen could be allowed to make a temporary move to Serie A side Napoli.

Finally, the Liverpool Echo explain more about a new film announced on Tuesday that is set to focus on the life of Everton’s greatest ever goalscorer, Dixie Dean.
