Seamus Coleman says he will support close friends James McCarthy through his recovery from the broken leg he suffered against West Brom.

The Everton right-back features in both the Daily Star and Irish Independent, explaining why he intends to play as well as he possibly can to show McCarthy that he can come back from his injury.

McCarthy himself took to Instagram posted a photo from his hospital bed to announce that he had successful surgery on Instagram, and that is included in Thursday’s Daily Express.

Elsewhere, the Liverpool Echo and Daily Mail include stories on the Club’s plans for their new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock.

The Mail also links the Toffees with a move for Charlton Athletic’s England Under-20s defender Ezri Konsa, and with an interest in recruiting PSV Eindhoven’s sporting director Marcel Brands.
