Everton are linked with a move for Lille defender Adama Soumaoro in Friday’s edition of the Liverpool Echo.

The Blues have already strengthened their squad with the acquisitions of Cenk Tosun and Theo Walcott but it is suggested that Sam Allardyce is eyeing further reinforcements.

The local read also reports Everton duo Davy Klaassen and Aaron Lennon are rumoured transfer targets for Turkish side Fenerbahce and Newcastle United respectively. It is also said Leeds United hold an interest in their former player Lennon.

Elsewhere, skipper Phil Jagielka explains why opponents will “fear” new signing Walcott, while the Daily Mail writes that West Brom - Everton’s opponents on Saturday - were interested in the winger prior to his move to Goodison Park.

Walcott sharing a behind-the-scenes video makes the Daily Mirror, and there is an update on Maarten Stekelenburg’s fitness in the Echo.
