Everton’s capture of Theo Walcott, Cenk Tosun and links to further possible reinforcements feature in Thursday’s newspapers.
The Blues completed the signing of England international Walcott on Wednesday and the 28-year-old features in the Daily Mail
explaining why “the time felt right” for him to move on after 12 years at former club Arsenal, and reveals the chats he had with Wayne Rooney over a switch to the Toffees.
Sam Allardyce tells the same paper it was Everton’s ambition that allowed him to win the race for the in-demand forward, while Walcott is quoted in the Liverpool Echo
admitting he is "dead excited" to be heading to Merseyside.
Elsewhere, new Toffees frontman Tosun explains how Allardyce managed to lure him from Champions League football with former club Besiktas to Goodison Park.
Everton are also linked with further potential incomings, with both the Daily Star
and Echo suggesting Jamie Vardy is next on the hit list.
But it is rumoured the Blues will not make a move for midfielder Steven N’Zonzi having spent around £50million on Walcott and Tosun.
Finally, the Mail believe Bayern Munich’s Spain international full-back Juan Bernat is a target.
