Theo Walcott is once again linked with a move to Everton in Monday’s newspapers.

Sam Allardyce is ready to play the England forward in his preferred striker role according to the Daily Mirror, should Walcott make a £20million switch to Goodison Park.

Elsewhere, the Blues are rumoured to hold an interest in Forest Green starlet Jordan Stevens, who has made 13 appearances this season for the League Two side.

That story appears in the Liverpool Echo, who go on to write that both Leeds and Brighton are also in the race for the 17-year-old.

And Everton’s defeat to Tottenham at Wembley on Saturday sees Allardyce admit he will go “back to square one” in a bid to avoid slipping back into a relegation dogfight.
