Under-23s' Match With City Postponed

Welcome, Marco!

Everything you need to know about the new boss here.

Everton Under-23s’ wait to kick off their 2018 continues as the weather claimed their second game in six days.

After the young Blues’ Premier League Cup match against Barnsley was postponed back on 3 January due a waterlogged pitch, they had hoped to play their first fixture of the new year when Manchester City visited the Merseyrail Community Stadium on Monday night. But a frozen pitch has meant the game also being postponed.

David Unsworth’s charges are next in action – weather permitting – when they travel to Tottenham Hotspur on 15 January, with a midday kick-off at their Hotspur Way training base.
