Rumours regarding Everton’s next manager continue to dominate Monday’s newspapers.

In the Telegraph, it is reported Watford manager Marco Silva “refuses to end speculation” linking him with becoming Ronald Koeman’s successor.

Elsewhere, in the same publication, David Unsworth has outlined his manifesto if given the job on a permanent basis.

Unsworth also discusses how he has worked from the bottom to rebuild Oumar Niasse’s confidence, after the Senegalese striker notched his sixth goal of the season in the 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

The Daily Mirror claims Everton want to scupper Arsenal’s bid to land Besiktas midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup in January.

And finally, temporary Under-23s boss Francis Jeffers described Friday’s defeat in the Merseyside mini derby as “heartbreaking”.
