Michael Keane has been called up to the England squad for the forthcoming international friendlies against Germany and Brazil.
The Everton defender was absent from original squad named by manager Gareth Southgate last Thursday - but has now been added to the group after recovering from injury and featuring in Everton’s 3-2 victory over Watford on Sunday.
The 24-year-old centre-back, signed from Burnley in July, had missed the Blues’ three previous fixtures with a foot problem.
Keane, who has earned four England caps to date, joins club colleague Jordan Pickford in the Three Lions squad.
England start their World Cup preparations with the Wembley double-header, facing Germany this Friday (10 November) before locking horns with Brazil a week on Tuesday (14 November).
