Matchday Guide: Watford

@Everton

Everton welcome Watford to Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon as attentions switch back to the Premier League.

The fixture will be used to commemorate Remembrance Day to honour Armed Forces personnel, past and present.

There is plenty to keep Blues entertained prior to kick-off at 4.30pm, so here’s a rundown of what’s going on around the ground.

FANZONE

With activity beginning at around 2.30pm, the FanZone is the perfect place to get in the matchday mood.

Live music comes from Liam and Joe, while former Blues winger Mark Ward will give his thoughts on the game after the teams are read out.

To mark Remembrance Sunday on 13 November, Dave Curtis and Bill Martin from the Royal British Legion will talk about events to honour our fallen heroes.

There will be prizes and vouchers to be won on quizzes and competitions with hosts Claire Simmo and Gavin Pettifor.

And there is also plenty of food and drink available. Please note that Chang has been replaced with Carling for this season.

THE MATCHDAY HUB

Opening at 1.30pm, the Matchday Hub is the perfect place for younger Blues to spend their time before the big game.

Boasting a games area, face painting, a craft session and football coaching clinics, there are also special meal deals for both children and parents.

Everton in the Community will deliver three football coaching sessions, weather permitting, at Cryuff Court. Ages 5-7 will be at 2.30pm; 8-10 at 3pm and 11+ at 3.30pm.

THE PEOPLE’S HUB

The People’s Hub Cafe is open between 1.30pm and 4.30pm. Options include sandwiches, tea, coffee, soft drinks and snacks.

ST LUKE’S CHURCH

Catch the latest exhibition from the Heritage Society at St Luke’s Church on the corner of Goodison Road and Gwladys Street.

PITCHSIDE AND OTHER ACTIVITY

From 4.15pm, there will be an EitC Bronze award presentation with Dave Curtis and a serving military personnel. That will be followed by a Remembrance wreath presentation with military personnel, while a bugle player will perform the Last Post.

Fans are also encouraged to head inside to the stadium early to catch all the pre-match build-up, including the Toffee Lady and players' warm-up!
