Gylfi Sigurdsson insists in Tuesday’s newspapers that Everton’s best is yet to come.

The Iceland international midfielder features across a number of national editions including the Daily Mail and Daily Express on his belief that the Blues must ‘win ugly’ to help reverse their current fortunes, and that his own form will improve.

Elsewhere, former Toffees defender Michael Ball talks Toffees in his weekly column in the Liverpool Echo, which also includes quotes from Dominic Calvert-Lewin on playing out wide against Brighton.

And the Echo also runs a piece on Luke Garbutt on why he cannot play first-team football at Everton until January.
