Crewe boss David Artell offers an update on Everton loanee Conor Grant in Thursday’s Liverpool Echo, saying the midfielder “knows he has to do everything he possibly can” to impress during his time at Gresty Road.

The midfielder, whose contract with the Blues expires next summer, has had an injury-hit start to his time with the League Two outfit but helped set up the Railwaymen’s winning goal against Stevenage last weekend.

Elsewhere, the Echo discuss rumours linking Arsenal’s Theo Walcott with a January move to Goodison Park and also look at how the Club’s Finch Farm training ground continues to develop 10 years after first opening its door.
