There is a mix of transfer and international talk in today’s newspapers.

Everton continue to be touted as a potential January destination for Arsenal attacker Theo Walcott, while it is again suggested Chelsea and Tottenham will go head to head for Ross Barkley’s signature in the new year.

A number of papers carry speculation centring on the international future of Ademola Lookman, with Nigeria apparently keen to secure the Toffees winger’s services. Lookman is poised to feature for England Under-21s against their Scottish counterparts at Middlesbrough's Riverside Stadium tonight.

Ashley Williams is quoted talking up Wales’s prospects of success in their final two World Cup qualifiers despite the injury absence of Real Madrid star Gareth Bale, while the Everton centre-back is the focus of former Blues skipper Kevin Ratcliffe’s Liverpool Echo column.

The local paper also discuss the merits of a possible recall to the Toffees team for Kevin Mirallas.
