Michael Keane will line-up for Everton against former club Burnley today after overcoming the foot injury that has kept him out of the Blues’ previous two games.
There is also a place in Ronald Koeman’s team for Oumar Niasse following the striker’s match-winning double against Bournemouth last week, while midweek scorer Nikola Vlasic is selected to start a Premier League match for the first time.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin is poised to partner Niasse in Everton’s attack, with the Blues’ engine room of Idrissa Gana Gueye and Morgan Schneiderlin flanked by Vlasic and Gylfi Sigurdsson.
Ashley Williams joins Keane in the middle of defence, while Cuco Martina and captain Leighton Baines adopt their customary full-back positions.
Jordan Pickford retains the goalkeeping gloves to maintain his Premier League ever-present record after joining from Sunderland in the summer.
Koeman has plenty of attacking options on the bench. Wayne Rooney, Davy Klaassen, Ademola Lookman and Sandro Ramirez are all named among Everton’s substitutes, alongside Mason Holgate, Tom Davies and goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg.
