Burnley are in town this Sunday as Premier League football returns to Goodison Park after Thursday’s Europa League fixture.
Before Everton square off against the Clarets, there is plenty to keep Blues entertained prior to kick-off so here’s a rundown of what’s going on around the ground.
Kicking off at approximately midday, the Fan Zone is the perfect place to get in the matchday mood.
Live music - with a '60s theme - comes from The Mac Brothers, while former Blue and Everton Giant Derek Temple will be on the stage, alongside X Factor contestant and boyhood Toffee Gary Barker and fund-raising hero Speedo Mick.
With the game part of a wider tribute to Alan Ball, commemorative flags for young Blues will be available, while there will be bucket collections to raise money for nominated charities - Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool, The Countess Mountbatten Hospice in Southampton, The Oakley Waterman Foundation in Portsmouth and The Willow Foundation north of London in Hertfordshire.
There will also be the usual quizzes and competitions with hosts Claire Simmo and Gavin Pettifor.
There is also plenty of food and drink available.
THE MATCHDAY HUB
Opening from midday, the Matchday Hub is the perfect place for younger Blues to spend their time before the big game.
Boasting a games area, face painting, a craft session and EitC football coaching clinics, there are also special meal deals for both children and parents.
The Heritage Society will also be displaying a special Alan Ball exhibition.
THE PEOPLE’S HUB
The People’s Hub Cafe is open between midday and 2pm. Options include sandwiches, cakes and snacks. Tea, coffee, soft drinks and snacks are also available.
ST LUKE’S CHURCH
St Luke’s Church, on the corner of Goodison Road and Gwladys Street, will feature a special Alan Ball display, as part of the tribute to the Everton Giant.
Before kick-off, there will be two Alan Ball banners to be unfurled at either end of the stadium. Tributes will be paid to one of Everton's greatest-ever players as part of wider commemorations 10 years after his passing.
Head inside early to catch all the pre-match build-up, including the Toffee Lady and player warm-up.
