Toffees hero Daniel Amokachi headed to Finch Farm on Friday’s The Everton Show to catch up with his former manager and a pair of 1995 FA Cup-winning teammates.
Amokachi was back in England last week to pay the Club a visit and was paraded on the Goodison Park pitch at half-time of the 2-1 win over Bournemouth.
But the much-loved Nigerian also took time out to head down to the Blues' training ground, where The Everton Show cameras followed him as he happily reminisced about his spell on Merseyside - and THAT semi-final against Spurs - with Joe Royle, David Unsworth and John Ebbrell.
Also on Friday’s show, goalscorer Nikola Vlasic gave his verdict on Thursday’s frustrating 2-2 with Apollon Limassol in the Europa League, defender Mason Holgate looked ahead to the visit of Burnley on Sunday and Dominic Calvert-Lewin talked cars, roommates and paper rounds in My Firsts.
Viewers can watch on demand now and also see all the goals from the Under-23s’ 4-2 victory over Arsenal at Southport FC, plus get the views of Club ambassador Graham Stuart on all the week’s news.
The Everton Show airs first on Made In Liverpool (Sky channel 117, Freeview 7 and Virgin 159) and Made In North Wales (Freeview channel 8) every Friday from 7pm, before being made available to fans across the globe via YouTube
